Why we invested in ZeroDrift

We believe compliance will become one of the largest blockers to enterprise AI adoption as the existing compliance stack was built for a world where humans, not AI agents, generated communications.

ZeroDrift is building the "compliance firewall for AI": a real-time enforcement layer that validates, rewrites, or blocks communications before they are sent. The platform sits inline across enterprise communication channels and AI systems, enforcing regulations, internal policies, and security controls before messages reach customers, employees, or regulators. Unlike legacy compliance vendors that archive and flag violations after the fact, ZeroDrift prevents violations before they happen.

We were particularly drawn to founder Kumesh Aroomoogan's deep domain expertise and distribution advantage. After spending more than a decade building and scaling Accern into one of the leading AI platforms serving financial institutions, Kumesh understands both the regulatory landscape and the buyers responsible for managing it. We believe that founder-market fit, combined with a differentiated pre-send architecture and the accelerating adoption of AI agents across the enterprise, positions ZeroDrift to define a new category in enterprise infrastructure.
